As you glance over at the judges’ table this coming Sunday, you’ll notice a truly esteemed group of experts who will determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places–an easy task this is not!

Michel Suas is the founder and president of the San Francisco Baking Institute and Thorough Bread and Pastry. He is internationally recognized as an industry expert and thought leader, and is a strong advocate of using education to advance the appreciation and craft of artisan baking.

JT Tredgold is the Director of Bakery Operations at the beloved Bay Area artisan bread and pastry-maker Semifreddi’s, situated right across the bay in Kensington. JT has been part of the Semifreddi’s family for over 15 years and is currently part of Team USA, the national competitive baking team.

Tamara Palmer is our indispensable veteran judge who has graced our presence at every SFFW event to date! She is an SF food writer extraordinaire, author, DJ, and regular contributor to SF Weekly.
