{ SF is riddled with professional weekend brunch-goers, so we thought “HEY. Brunch battle. Duh.” }

We proudly present our next SF Food War : “Amuse Brunch (brunch in a bite)” to take place on Sunday, May 16th, 2010 from 12pm to 3pm at Thirsty Bear Brewery in SoMA.

Are we going to see bacon? Obviously. Quail eggs? Probably. Quail bacon? Hopefully. Does that exist?

Twenty top competitors will bust out their best bite-sized brunchlings and brunchlettes. Hold up–so you think you can mini-brunch? Read on below for competitors’ details.

$15 gets you in the door with a tasty brunch beverage in hand. So all you brunch-heads, mark those calendars for Tuesday, May 4th at 12PM noon when tickets go on sale!

Team 10-2-D-27 made a couple eyebrows twitch, what, with their cookies having not a hint of chocolate brown in the mix. That’s because they used white chocolate in their tasty “Snooki’s Cookie Whoopsies”, a playful take on the classic whoopie pie, this time with bits of white chocolate “teeth”, paying homage to Snooki getting punched in the face.
